Prior to July 1, 2015 there were different training standards for Occupational Health & Safety Committee members verses OH&S Worker Representative or Designate, whereby OHS Committee members were required to do a three-day training program while OHS Worker Reps/Designates were only required to take a one-day training program.  However, as of July 1st, 2015 a new two-day course will be the standard for OHS Committee Members, Worker Representatives and Worker Designates, and the new training certificates will expire three years from the date of issue.. Current OHS Committee training certificates are valid until June 30, 2018.
