Mount Pearl Power Line Hazards

This WorkplaceNL developed training program is required for operators of boom trucks, mobile cranes, and other similar equipment as well as anyone working in close proximity to power lines. This course gives an increased awareness of the potential dangers associated with power lines. It examines the responsibilities of workers and employers under the OH&S Act and Regulations as they apply to power lines and electrical systems. This course also explains the proper procedures for working near power lines, including emergency situations.

This training requires recertification every 3 years.
