Mount Pearl Power Line Hazards

This is the mandatory training required under the OHS Act for all workplaces that employ 10 or more workers. The purpose of this training is to give committee members the knowledge they require to fulfill their duties and responsibilities under the OHS Act and Regulations. Please note - the prerequisite for this training is an OHS Committee/WHS Representative and Designate Level 1 certificate.



Committee members are responsible for:
• Monitoring OHS in the workplace;
• Taking a proactive role, being good ambassadors, role models, and mentors of health and safety in the workplace;
• Playing major roles in developing and sustaining a positive health and safety culture in the workplace in conjunction with workers and employers; and
• Promoting health and safety awareness in the workplace.

4. Making it Effective
