Occupational Health and Safety Advisor/Trainer – Mount Pearl.

Please Note: This is a one-year contract position with a focus on delivering training.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Safety Association is on the lookout for exceptional Occupational Health and Safety Advisors/Trainers to join our dynamic team in Mount Pearl. As our new Occupational Health and Safety Advisors/Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in fulfilling our mission in eastern Newfoundland. Your responsibilities will mainly include delivering training; however, auditing and member services duties are included.

The ideal candidates will bring a Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, along with a proven track record in the construction industry. It’s crucial that you’re well-versed in the Certificate of Recognition™ (COR™) Program and MUST be a current WorkplaceNL certified instructor for training standards such as Fall Protection and Confined Space Entry. Furthermore, qualifications like the Canadian Registered Safety Professional® (CRSP®), Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC), or National Construction Safety Officer™ (NCSO™) Designations will be highly regarded.
