The Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Safety Association is on the lookout for exceptional Occupational Health and Safety Advisors/Trainers to join our dynamic teams in Gander and Corner Brook. As our new Occupational Health and Safety Advisors/Trainers, you will play a pivotal role in fulfilling our mission in central and western Newfoundland. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities, from conducting training and audits to delivering member services and championing general health and safety initiatives.

The ideal candidates will bring a Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, along with a proven track record in the construction industry. It’s crucial that you’re well-versed in the Certificate of Recognition™ (COR™) Program, and being a WorkplaceNL certified instructor for training standards such as Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Traffic Control Level 1 or 2, Power Line Hazards, Supervisor Health and Safety, or Occupational Health and Safety Committee will give you a definite edge. Furthermore, qualifications like the Canadian Registered Safety Professional® (CRSP®), Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC), or National Construction Safety Officer™ (NCSO™) Designations will be highly regarded.
